Change is an inevitable part of life and mine is no exception.
The goal for Next Step Weekly Meetings is to have qualified facilitators educate and present topics of interest to our members. I have not had any success finding QUALIFIED individuals to assist in leading the weekly meetings so I have lead the meetings with the exception of a handful, thanks to those who stepped up to lead. I love this work, it is the reason I am back in school so late in life, to help women become the best versions of themselves.
Next Step will meet once monthly, on the last Friday of the month.
Because my health has to stay a top priority, self-care is instrumental for me to maintain my physical and mental health. It is for that reason I am making the modifications to our meeting schedule until further notice. Next Step will meet once monthly, on the last Friday of the month. The reduction in meetings is more manageable and it is important that I practice self-care and create boundaries as part of my continued recovery.

You all are instrumental in NEXT STEP becoming a resource for women everywhere, to find meetings, educational material, videos, and an amazing community of women. We are proving to the world that women CAN get along, CAN meet and support each other, CAN make a difference in our lives and CAN do anything we set our mind to. With the right resources we are empowered to be the best and happiest versions of ourselves, and SELFCARE must be the foundation for us all, individually and collectively.
